What to Expect on Your Island Tennis Experience

Susan Evans offers professional tennis teaching services for all ages and levels to both visitors and locals alike in Marco Island, Florida. She is a USPTA/RSPA Certified Elite Tennis Professional, USTA SafeSport Trained and Safe Play Approved, a Net Generation Provider accredited by the USPTA/RSPA, and a sponsored team member of the Wilson Advisory Staff. Susan was a former Division I college tennis player at the University of Iowa playing both singles and doubles for the Hawkeye's and earned a business degree in Marketing. More recently, she was the 2014 USPTA/RSPA National Clay Court Doubles Champion and Singles Runner-Up, and the 2015 Doubles Player of the Year. Susan has taught, coached and played competitively throughout the United States as well as in Europe and the Caribbean. She has worked with some of the leaders and legends in the tennis industry such as Coach Wayne Bryan of Southern California, and Coaches Dick Gould, Frank Brennan and John Whitlinger at Stanford University. 

​Susan is a career tennis teaching professional with over 30 years of experience who genuinely enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge of the sport with her students to help them improve their individual game and overall tennis journey. Her Island Tennis business has earned the 2015 Best of Marco Island Award and the Tripadvisor Travelers Choice Award five years. So no worries, you'll be well taken care of and in good hands. Susan can accommodate all levels of play and customize accordingly to make an enjoyable and productive tennis experience for you. Tennis Fees:
  • Private – $90/hour
  • Group (2 students) – $110/hour 
  • Group (3 students) – $120/hour 
  • Group (4 students) – $130/hour
  • Group (5+ students) – $28/person/hour ​​
  • Adult Wilson rental racquet: $10/use​ ​
​*Tennis services take place at a beautiful private tennis court estate location within minutes driving distance of the islands major resorts, hotels and timeshares (Hilton, Marriott and Marco Beach Ocean Resort) or Susan can come to you upon request. We are a mobile operator.
